Title: Fun ways for kids to learn peacemaking skills
Post by: admin on October 07, 2010, 02:48:41 PM
(http://www.giraffejuice.com/images/contact/4.gif)Making NVC fun to learn is a common challenge for many parents and teachers. On this page we are particularly interested in books, games, videos, music, interactive games, etc...

Feel free to share any educational and entertaining resources for kids that are either pure NVC or are in some way related. If your recommendation is not NVC specific (i.e. Waldorf, Montessori, etc...) we'd still love to hear about it.

This short video talks about a very helpful parenting tool (although referred to as a "trick", I like to think of it more as a way of empathizing with your child's need that you may not be able to fill in the moment) borrowed from the book "How to talk so kids will listen and listen so kids will talk"...like Giraffe Juice, a highly recommended book for consciously communicating with your child.
